Cancellations & Rescheduling

Emergencies, illness and complications are a part of what we all live with in our daily lives. We hope to keep our schedules manageable but in the event that you or I have to make a change to an appointment this is my policy. If I need to change or cancel our appointment, I will make every effort to give you at least 24 hour notice. I ask that I be given 24 hours notice for your cancellation or 48 if the appointment is set for Monday. This will allow me to make the time available for someone else. If you are unable to provide 24 hour notice, you will be charged the regular fee for the missed appointment. I will call you in the next day to try to reschedule. If you leave me a message, please provide times when it would be best to reach you.

Client Emergencies

Although, I check my voicemail often, I may not be available to discuss and emergency. In the event of an emergency when I am unavailable, you have three options to assist you that I want you try. One is to contact the general emergency number (911), the second is the 24 hour crisis hotline (512) 472-4357 and the third is Seton Shoal Creek Psychiatric Hospital (512) 324-2000
